Jeff Cobb Makes His Ring Of Honor Debut

The agile big man has arrived.

It was reported earlier this week that Jeff Cobb was set to start with Ring Of Honor at tonight’s TV tapings at Center Stage in Atlanta. Following the news there were swinging reports coming from various outlets who were noting that Cobb had signed with Ring Of Honor because he was set to make his debut at the tapings.

Jeff Cobb then took to Twitter to make it clear that he has not signed with the company.

Cobb recently worked NJPW’s Kizuna Road tour and at the G1 Special in San Francisco he challenged Hirooki Goto for the NEVER Openweight Championship. Tonight at the ROH TV tapings, Cobb officially made his Ring Of Honor debut when he ran in and attacked two talents and their match was called off as a no contest due to the attack by the former Lucha Underground Champion.

Speaking of Ring Of Honor and NJPW, the two will be presenting a joint-show at Madison Square Garden next year and one ROH star who is confident that he’ll make the show great is the current NWA Historic Welterweight Champion Matt Taven.
