JD McDonagh Says European Premium Live Events Are ‘Huge’ For European Talent

In 2024, WWE will be heading to France and Berlin for two different Premium Live Events. This comes after WWE’s successful visit to the UK for Money In The Bank earlier this year, which broke several records.
The UK market has always been a strong one for WWE, but recently the company have looked to branch out in Europe as mentioned previously with the two upcoming Premium Live Events.
While speaking to Irish Wrestling And Entertainment in a recent interview, JD McDonagh was asked how important the European Premium Live Events are to the European talent currently on the WWE roster.
“Huge for the European talent. I’m determined to have WWE look back that way, NXT UK was such a huge turning point in my development, so if we can get something like that up and running again with NXT Europe and open up that path between the training schools in Europe and WWE that would be amazing.”
WWE Backlash 2024 will take place on May 4th, while Bash In Berlin will air on August 31st.
McDonagh is now a member of the Judgment Day, after Damian Priest welcomed him into the faction back on November 16th, and took part in the WarGames match at Survivor Series last weekend.
