Jay White Returns At NJPW Road To The New Beginning

Jay White continues to breathe with New-Japan Pro Wrestling.

At NJPW Road to The New Beginning, Jay White returned to the company, laying out Tomohiro Ishii with a Bladerunner following the co-main event after a Bullet Club distraction.

White last appeared at NJPW New Year Dash, which he said would be his last appearance in NJPW as he would be done with the company. Following his loss to Kota Ibushi in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 15, a frustrated “Switchblade” said, “I’ll show up tomorrow [New Year Dash], but after that, that’s it” and “maybe my time would be spent better someplace else.” You can find his full comments by clicking here.

White teamed with Bad Luck Fale, Chase Owens, EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi at New Year Dash, losing to Hirooki Goto, Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & YOSHI-HASHI when Ishii pinned him.

White was helped to the back by his Bullet Club stablemates and hadn’t been seen since. His profile was removed from the NJPW website and it was reported that there was doubt that NJPW would extend his contract, with WWE believed to be making a strong play.
