Eddie Kingston defeated Jay White at NJPW Battle in the Valley in a Loser Leaves NJPW bout. The finished saw Kingston blast White with every in his arsenal including four spinning backfists, a half and half suplex, and a Northern Lights Driver. White kicked out, giving him hope he could maintain his era in NJPW.
However, it was not to be as Kingston picked up White, hugged him, and delivered another Northern Lights Driver for the victory.
The crowd chanted “Thank you Jay” as he got to his feet. White was about to address the audience, but he was attacked by David Finlay, who said, “Fuck your era.” Finlay said White threw it all away and that he feels at home in NJPW.
