Jay Lethal Defends ROH World Title In A Ladder Match Against Matt Taven And Marty Scurll At G1 Supercard

The ROH World Title bout is official for ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard.

ROH confirmed that Jay Lethal will defend his ROH World Title against Matt Taven and Marty Scurll in a triple threat ladder match on Apr. 6 at G1 Supercard.

Scurll declared himself the number one contender at the press conference prior to the 17th Anniversary event, cashing in his championship opportunity thanks to his Survival of the Fittest 2018 tournament win. Scurll was set to face the winner of the 17th Anniversary bout between Lethal and Taven, but the title match between the two ended in a draw after 60-minutes. After the bout, Scurll came to the ring and took the ROH World Title.

In the segment above, you can view Scurll giving Lethal back the ROH World Title and Lethal proposing a triple threat ladder match.
