Stephanie McMahon was just trying to tout the success of WWE when Jake Hager came in rock hard.
Stephanie took to social media to say how proud she was of the community for helping WWE win the 2020 Corporation of the Year award at the PR News CSR & Nonprofit Awards. If WWE does one thing well, it’s putting smiles on faces.
So proud of the @WWECommunity team & all their hard work to make @WWE the 2020 Corporation of the Year at this year’s @PRNews CSR & Nonprofit Awards! WWE’s mission is to put smiles on faces & it could not be done without the hard work & passion of this incredible team! https://t.co/yePZaa5Odo

AEW star Jake Hager made sure to point out that WWE has put frowns on faces this year a well.
Lmao. I guess lying about over 37 million in quarterly profits , so you can fire over 300 people, during a worldwide pandemic is a category for an award? — @AndrewYang https://t.co/Yg65yCYQ8J

WWE made company-wide cutbacks in April due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but their net income hit $43.8 million in the second quarter of 2020.
Hager tagged former Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang, who has been very outspoken against WWE in recent months, even going as far as calling them “fucking greedy.” You can find his full comments by clicking here.
