Jade Cargill: All The Women In AEW Can Have A Five Star Match, We Just Need Time To Shine
Jade Cargill believes in the AEW women’s locker room.
Cargill is the reigning AEW TBS Champion and undefeated in AEW. She’s taken on a variety of challengers, though she’s not currently in possession of the belt as Nyla Rose has stolen it. AEW has consistently added to the women’s roster and boasts talent such as Cargill, Nyla, Toni Storm, Thunder Rosa, Britt Baker, Athena, Jamie Hayter, Riho, Willow Nightingale, and more.
Speaking to Steve Fall on Ten Count, Cargill was asked about a potential all-women’s AEW event.
“That would be great if we could. I know for a fact that the women in the locker room, all of them could give five-star matches, we just need the time to do it and the time to shine. We have a very talented roster of ladies. It’s just, we have one match a show and we’re trying to do the best to perform and maximize the minutes we’re given,” she said.
When asked for her thoughts on only having one match per show, Cargill replied, “I’m new to the industry, so I’m going to step back and watch how things are going. I haven’t worked in other industries. We’re going to keep maximizing the time we have and kill it and prove that we are worthy for more time.”
Circling back to an all-women’s event, Cargill elaborated by saying, “The matchups, the faces that haven’t been on Rampage or Dynamite in many months, it would be a stellar show. I’m very certain of that. Especially with not having to worry about fighting for positions or anything, just an all-women’s show and everyone has time.”
Cargill is coming off a victory over Marina Shafir on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. Despite winning, she still doesn’t have the AEW TBS Championship.
