Jack Swagger Criticizes Goldberg For SummerSlam Match, Goldberg Responds
The former Jack Swagger was not happy with Goldberg’s performance at SummerSlam and the two had a brief spat on Twitter.
After Goldberg’s match against Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam, Swagger, now competing in MMA as Jake Hager, did not have a good review of the match, noting that he’s tried of Goldberg wrestling at this stage of his career. Goldberg ended up winning the match by beating Ziggler in less than two minutes.
Maybe if u have a match on #summerfest, u should actually be able to work a match. @Goldberg . I’m tired of this shit…

Goldberg did respond to Swagger’s tweets, albeit briefly, and Swagger called out Goldberg for only kicking out at one instead of two on both instances Ziggler tried to pin him.

Swagger isn’t even the first current or former MMA fighter to criticize Goldberg. NXT superstar Matt Riddle has been a long-time critic of Goldberg and the two had a tense confrontation at SummerSlam before Goldberg went into the ring for his match.
Riddle’s side of the story of the interaction with Goldberg, as well as his thoughts on the SummerSlam match itself as it happened, can be seen at this link.
