Isiah Kassidy Jokes That He Wanted The FBI To Help Take Memes About Keith Lee Tossing Him Down
Isiah Kassidy has had enough of the memes of Keith Lee sending him flying across the ring.
Isiah Kassidy has had enough of the memes of Keith Lee sending him flying across the ring.
In February, the former NXT Champion made his AEW debut in a singles match against Kassidy. The bout was memorable, given that it marked Lee’s arrival in the company. But the contest also produced an unforgettable moment where Lee launched Kassidy across the ring. Since then, the moment has been the subject of numerous memes.
One such meme can be seen below:

In an interview with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, Kassidy was asked about the memes, and he joked that he has reported the account for these posts.
“I think we should get that account reported, by the way. I reported it numerous times because they keep playing my name,” Kassidy said.
When asked whether he thinks the memes are a good thing or not, he made it clear that he’s not in favor of them. He noted that his own grandma has rubbed the spot in his face, so seeing the AEW on TV account keep bringing it up as a step too far. He described how he felt so passionate about the issue that he tagged the FBI in his post, hoping they would take the meme down.
“I think it’s a bad thing. I don’t wanna see myself getting thrown. You know what’s crazy, my father was in the front row, and he saw that. My grandmother constantly reminds me by sending me pictures of that meme to rub it in my face. I thought we was family, I thought we was cool, but apparently not. I’m trying to forget about that, and everybody keeps throwing it back in my face. On top of that, AEW on TV consistently decides to disrespect me on social media. That’s why on my Twitter, I tagged the FBI, I tagged the FBI to get their account taken down and get that post taken down because it haunts me, it haunts me,” he said.
The Private Party member also stated that he didn’t just seek the FBI’s help; he also reached out to the NYPD and other authorities.
“I didn’t wanna do it, but they left me with no choice. They left me with no choice, so I had to get the FBI [involved]. Before I called Joe Biden, I called the bounty hunter, I called NYPD, and nothing happened, so now I gotta call the FBI. I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Kassidy said.
The Keith Lee spot has garnered plenty of attention for Kassidy, and he made it clear that he doesn’t mind going viral. However, he would like to do so for his looks or his other desirable traits.
“I’m okay with going viral. It’s just not in that way, not in that light. I want to go viral for my looks because I look good, I smell good, and I taste good. Let me go viral for that, not being thrown across the ring,” he said.
Matt Hardy recently explained why he’s keeping a close eye on Private Party. You can check out his comments here.
