Inner Circle Choir Singer Meredith Bell Hits Back At Critics, Chris Jericho Calls Performance “Perfect”
Chris Jericho got an entrance befitting Le Champion at AEW Revolution as the Inner Circle Choir led a rendition of “Judas.”
The unique entrance helped set Jericho apart and was different than anything he’s done for his walk to the ring. And while the majority of fans praised the entrance and the performance of the Inner Circle Choir, there were those who just had to take issue with it.
Taking to social media, Inner Circle Choir lead singer Meredith Bell responded to those who criticized the performance or how members of the choir looked.
i wasn’t going to address it, because it doesn’t bother me at all, but my concern is that my choir members may not be as tough-skinned as me when it comes to the wrestling community. so, here we go.
jericho didn’t ask y’all to perform with him. he asked me.
period.

was it perfect? no. could the sound have been better? sure. but the AEW sound crew and the rest of the team did what they had to do, and given the circumstances of performing in a huge arena like that with acoustics against us… it sounded as great as it could have.

all 15 choir members, including myself, had a blast doing this for AEW and for jericho. it was an experience of a lifetime, and i will not allow ANY negativity to take that away from us.
hate all you want, but we did that. and y’all can stay mad.
that’s all i have to say. pic.twitter.com/E4Xk8rGmGr

as an addendum:
i’m not regularly on reddit. to be clear. but i did see a few comments that were negative. a lot of that is most likely NOT from r/squaredcircle – so if anyone on here is a part of that, i wasn’t talking about you.
don’t kill me!

Jericho had Bell’s back, saying the performance as perfect.
It WAS perfect. #NuffSaid https://t.co/FrUOLkl3Tu

Bell also shared the story of Liz Rose, whose brother Greg passed away 17 years ago. The performance meant even more to her as Greg was a big fan of Jericho.
so, there is a story involving the @AEWrestling #InnerCircleChoir that didn’t get told.
this was amazing for me, but it was extremely important for one of the choir members, @lizarrddd. her brother, greg, passed 17 yrs ago and was a huge @IAmJericho fan. here is her story. pic.twitter.com/waZcooDk9c
