IMPACT Wrestling Smashes Previous Twitch Record, Hits Over 50,000 Viewers
The anticipation of seeing Kenny Omega and the crossover with AEW paid off for IMPACT’s Twitch numbers.
IMPACT Wrestling broke viewership records on Tuesday, hitting 52,469 during the final segment featuring Kenny Omega and Don Callis. Just as the show went off the air, 55,396 viewers tuned in.
The show immediately broke the 2020 viewership record as over 11,000 viewers were waiting five minutes before the show started. When the show went live at 8 p.m. ET, 25,000 viewers had tuned in. When AEW’s paid advertisement featuring Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone aired, 40,000 viewers were locked in. The show cracked 50,000 just before the final segment.
Less than 20 minutes into the show, IMPACT tweeted that the show was trending #3, had already doubled the all-time viewership record on Twitch, and was a Top 5 channel on Twitch.

According to TwitchTracker, IMPACT peaked at 3,100 viewers for last Tuesday’s episode. IMPACT’s previous peak number of viewers was 15,449 on April 6, 2018, which was the IMPACT vs. Lucha Underground event during WrestleMania weekend.
