Impact Wrestling Signs Former WWE Developmental Wrestler To Contract

The former TNA continues to rebuild their recently depleted roster.

It's not as high-profile of a move as signing Alberto Del Rio, Chris Masters, Magnus or Matt Morgan, but Kevin Matthews is still set to make an impact.
(Pun very much intended.)

PWInsider reports that Matthews has signed a two-year deal with Impact Wrestling. He debuted during the last set of tapings, getting into it with Braxton Sutter.

Matthews, 34, is a former WWE Developmental talent as well as a three-time Pro Wrestling Syndicate champion. He has also been heavily involved in the the WrestlePro promotion in the New York City/New Jersey area, as well as GFW. You can watch his match with Bull James (formerly NXT's Bull Dempsey) at the top of the page.
