Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV!
Deonna Purrazzo & Matthew Rehwoldt vs Mickie James & Chris Sabin
Mickie and Matthew start the match off before Mickie and Chris double up on Matthew and Chris locks in an abdominal stretch before Matthew gets free and elbows Chris in the kidney before hitting an enzuigiri in the corner before hitting a jumping knee for two. Deonna comes in and chokes Chris in the ropes before she and Matthew isolate Chris until he gets to his feet and dropkicks Matthew in midair before he gets the hot tag to Mickie who attacks Deonna and the two brawl until Mickie hits a Thesz press. Mickie hits a neckbreaker into a roundhouse kick before everyone hits a move until Mickie tosses Deonna back into the ring and goes up top before Matthew grabs her leg and Deonna pulls her down before pinning Mickie with a roll up with Matthew holding her hand from ringside for the win.
Winner: Deonna Purrazzo and Matthew Rehwoldt defeat Mickie James and Chris Sabin via pinfall.
– Backstage Matt Cardona is interviewed about his challenging Moose for the IMPACT World title at Hard to Kill before W.Morrissey shows up and says that he deserved a singles match against Moose for the title before saying that there’s plenty of time between now and Hard to Kill. Matt then agrees to face W with the stipulation that if he loses he’ll drop out of the title match as we go to commercial.
– We get a taped promo by Eric Young and Violent By Design ahead of Eric’s Street Fight match against Rhino later tonight.
Rohit Raju (w/ Raj Singh) vs Lawrence D
Rohit and Lawrence exchange strikes before Lawrence strikes Rohit in the corner and tosses him across the ring before hitting a running cross body for two before Rohit takes control and is interrupted by Josh Alexander who attacks Raj and gets into the ring. Josh then low blows Rohit before hitting a powerbomb onto his knee for the disqualification.
Winner: Rohit Raju defeats Lawrence D via disqualification.
– Josh holds the ring until Scott D’Amore comes out to the ring and yells at Josh before laying out Raj a second time before leaving.
– Backstage Bullet Club harass a security guard backstage before Chris and Hikuleo are confronted by Laredo Kid as we go to commercial.
Learning Tree (VSK & Zicky Dice) vs FinJuice
David and Zicky start the match off before FJ double up on Zicky and VSK before VSK comes back with strikes and FJ hit a diving elbow drop backbreaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: FinJuice defeat Learning Tree via pinfall.
Street Fight Match
Eric Young vs Rhino
Eric and Rhino brawl before they end up at ringside and Rhino sends Eric into the railing before smashing his face into the apron and back dropping him onto the apron before Rhino suplexes Eric onto the ramp before hitting Eric with a trash can and wedging it in the corner. Eric comes back and beats on Rhino with a trash can lid before choking him with a chair and Rhino hits a superplex clotheslining Eric and turning him inside out with a shoulder block before Joe comes out and Heath saves Rhino before they clothesline Joe. Eri hits Rhino with his hockey mask for a near fall before Rhino counters a piledriver and Rich and Willie show up and lay out Eric and Deaner before Rhino goes for a piledriver and they’re attacked and laid out by Good Brothers. Eric then hits Rhino with a piledriver and pins him for the win.
Winner: Eric Young defeats Rhino via pinfall.
– After the match VBD and Karl and Doc work together and lay out Rich, Willie, Rhino, and Heath.
The Influence & IInspiration vs Decay
Black starts the match for Decay as I&I immediately get out of the ring and Decay tease a team stereo tope as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Cassie and Jessie in control of Rosemary before she scares them into the corner and Decay bite them before they tag out and Madison comes in and jumps on Steve’s back before he spins her off and bites her head. Madison rolls out of the ring as Black comes in before Black grabs Tenille by the hair and pulls her into the ring before Tenille slaps him and Black tosses Tenille over the top and onto everyone at ringside. Black in the ring Tenille then rolls Rosemary up before spears Tenille as Cassie and Jessie argue with Madison at ringside for the pin and the win.
Winner: Decay defeat IInspiration and The Influence via pinfall.
– Backstage Lady Frost is interviewed before Scott shows up and congratulates her for officially joining IMPACT before asking to enter the Women’s Ultimate X match before saying that she needs to take it up with Gail Kim who is now in control of the management of the Knockouts division. Gail then announces the participants for the Women’s Ultimate X match which will have Frost, Rosemary, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, Rachel Ellering, and Tasha Steelz as we go to commercial.
– Throwback Throwdown II is announced for December 16th.
W.Morrissey vs Matt Cardona
W attacks Matt when he’s coming out to the ring before beating on him around ringside and sending him into the steps and the apron before tossing him into the ring and covering him for two before Matt comes back with strikes briefly and W drops him with a back elbow. W then boots Matt out of the ring before going up top and posing for the crowd as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to W in control of Matt at ringside before lawn darting Matt into the post as we see that Matt’s been busted open before they get back into the ring and W misses a splash in the corner before they exchange strikes. Matt hits a face buster into a missile dropkick before hitting a running boot in the corner for two before W boots him and argues with the referee before laying him out.
Winner: No Contest.
– After the match Moose comes in and he and W attack Matt before Matt lays them out and saves Chelsea when she comes to try and help Matt before Matt and Chelsea stand tall in the ring with Matt holding up the IMPACT World title.
