Impact Wrestling 8/16 Viewership Goes Up From Record Low
After a record low last week, Impact Wrestling bounced back with 210,000 viewers and a .06 ratings in the 18 to 34 demographic. ShowBuzz Daily had the numbers at 168,000 viewers and a .04 rating last week. The number is still far below the nearly 300,000 viewers the show was doing following Slammiversary.
Thursday’s edition of the show ranked No. 112 among the top 150 cable originals, up 15 spots from last week. Once again, Thursday Night football reigned supreme as ESPN’s telecast of the New York Jets vs. Washington Redskins pulled 2.5 million viewers.
On YouTube, the street fight between LAX and the OGz has 45,000 views, making it most watched segment from Thursday’s show. The bout between Su Yung and Allie is second with 39,000 views. Rounding out the top five is Impact World Champion Austin Aries and new bodyguard Killer Kross laying waste to Eddie Edwards, Johnny Impact against Jimmy Jacobs, and the debut of “The Smokeshow” with Scarlett Bordeaux.
Impact was headlined by the aforementioned LAX and OGz brawl in the streets. If you missed any of the action from Thursday, check out Fightful’s full recap of the show.
