Impact Scores Second Lowest Viewership of 2017
It wasn't a good night ratings wise for Impact Wrestling.
The show, which featured Lashley vs. Moose in the main event, garnered 231,000 viewers according to ShowBuzz Daily. That would be a significant drop from last week's 267,000 viewers. It only managed to top the 227,000 viewers that the September 7th show earned, which was the night that the NFL started their season.
As far as cable rankings go, they just barely ranked on the Cable Top 150 list at #149. Last week they were ranked #135. NFL and NBA action largely dominated the night in ratings.
Last night's episode of Impact was the penultimate episode before Bound for Glory on November 5. It featured a ton of outside footage, including James Storm and EC3 beating Texano and El Hijo de Fantasma in AAA, oVe retaining their tag team titles at Border City Wrestling, Petey Williams winning a match on the same show, Trevor Lee retaining the X-Division title at the Crash, and Eddie Edwards retaining the GHC Heavyweight title against Naomici Marufuji.
Inside the Impact Zone, Moose and Lashley battled it out, with both Dan Lambert and Stephan Bonnar getting involved. The show also had Johnny Impact and Garza Jr. defeating Eli Drake and Chris Adonis ahead of the Impact title match between Impact and Drake at Bound for Glory.
