IMPACT Confirms 4 Title Matches Set For Emergence Night 1; Stipulation Set For Knockouts Title Bout
The two-week Emergence event will kick off with not one, not two, not three but potentially four title matches.
IMPACT Wrestling announced that the first week of Emergence, taking place on August 18, will see Eddie Edwards defend his IMPACT World Championship if he can defend his title tonight on IMPACT. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose will also take on Trey Miguel at Emergence. Moose has been defending the title on television on a regular basis while feuding with the returning EC3 for weeks.
In addition, it was confirmed that the Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) will take on the team of Ace Austin & Madman Fulton. The other two title matches confirmed for the show on August 18 is a three-way match between Chris Bey, TJP and Rohit Raju for the X-Division title and the rematch between Motor City Machine Guns and The North for the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles.
However, those aren’t the only matches that were announced for the first night of Emergence. Wrestle House will also be part of Emergence next week as Kylie Rae, the No. 1 contender to the Knockouts Championship, takes on Taya Valkyrie. Speaking of the Knockouts Championship, it was confirmed on IMPACT that the Knockouts Championship match between Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace will be a 30-minute Ironman Match.
