IMPACT 1000 Part 2 (9/21/2023).

  • Ultimate X Match: Alan Angels def. Zachary Wentz, Rich Swann, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Samuray del Sol & Ace Austin.
  • Backstage, Alan Angels revealed that he would cash in the Ultimate X against newly crowned champion X-Division Champion Chris Sabin next week.
  • Jake Something def. Dirty Dango (w/ Alpha Bravo).
    • Chase Stevens was the judge of the match. 
  • Steve Maclin cut a promo backstage calling out Rhino for interfering on Feast or Fired, but Rhino surprised him by hitting a GORE on Maclin through the soundboxes. After the break, Medical professionals & Santino Marella checked on Maclin & Rhino, where Rhino told Marella: “he got what he deserve, I don’t think I did enough. He tried to end my career, I don’t give a fuck what happens to him because whatever happens to him next, it’s on him”. 
  • Eric Young (w/ Scott D’Amore) def. Kenny King (w/ Sheldon Jean) (via Disqualification because of Sheldon Jean attacking Young).
    • Due to the interference at the end of the match, Shark Boy made the match into a tag match.
  • Team Canada (Eric Young & Scott D’Amore) def. Kenny King & Sheldon Jean (via Disqualification)
    • Deaner & Kon attacked Young at the beginning of the match, ending it in a disqualification. Shark Boy then made the match into an 8-Man Tag, with the Shark man assigning Team Canada to team with America’s Most Wanted (James Storm & Chris Harris).
  • Team Canada (Eric Young & Scott D’Amore) & America’s Most Wanted (James Storm & Chris Harris) def. Sheldon Jean, Kenny King & The Design (Deaner & Kon).
  • There was a post-match promo from Team 3D (Bully Ray & D-Von Dudley) from last week addressing the crowd after their first tag match in seven years. D-Von said that it was because of the fans that fought to get back in the ring after a back surgery & a stroke.
  • Dave LeGreca hosted the Feast of Fired Case Reveal ceremony. Crazzy Steve won the Digital Media Championship Case, Moose won the IMPACT World Championship Case & Chris Bey won the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship Case. Unfortunately, it was also revealed that Yuya Uemura got the Fired Case, meaning that he was now forced to leave IMPACT Wrestling.
  • Josh Alexander def. Trey Miguel (w/ Zachary Wentz).
    • After the match, IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley confronted Josh Alexander in the ring. Alexander then proceeded to challenge Shelley to a match for the title at Bound for Glory 2023, which Shelley accepted. 
  • Mike Bailey was with Jonathan Gresham backstage regarding his match against Will Ospreay for Bound for Glory. Gresham said that he was back to wrestle his way to win the World Title, but Bailey responded by challenging Gresham to a final match between the two. Gresham accepted the challenge. 
  • John Skyler met with IMPACT World Champions The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Ace Austin) met them to get a title shot, but he was interrupted by Bullet CLub’s Ace Austin & Chris Beyas the Rascalz fled the scene.
  • Trinity, Jordynne Grace, Gail Kim, Mickie James & Awesome Kong (w/ Raisha Saeed) def. Deonna Purrazzo, Savannah Evans, Gisele Shaw, Tasha Steelz & Angelina Love (w/ Velvet Sky & Jai Vidal).
