Ikemen Jiro To Make Singles Debut On 6/18 WWE 205 Live

Two matches have been announced for Friday’s 205 Live.

WWE announced Ikemen Jiro will make his singles debut against Tony Nese and newcomers, Asher Hale and Grayson Waller will clash one-on-one

From WWE:

Jiro and Nese to collide, Hale and Waller set for slugfest on 205 Live

A must-see edition of 205 Live features a pair of exciting singles bouts, as the eccentric Ikemen Jiro will take on the no-nonsense Tony Nese, while fiery rookie Asher Hale is set to collide with fellow newcomer Grayson Waller.

The Premiere Athlete isn’t fond of rookies in the first place, and since Jiro has a propensity for antics and showmanship while competing, the former Cruiserweight Champion is all but certain to hold his opponent in contempt.

Jiro is still undefeated on the purple brand, teaming with August Grey for a pair of tag team victories against Nese and Ariya Daivari as well as The Bollywood Boyz.

Can he replicate his success in what seems certain to be a heated clash with the self-proclaimed 205 Live OG? And will Jiro and Nese’s respective partners, August Grey and Daivari, play a role in the outcome?

Waller’s arrogance was apparent from the second he stepped through the curtain for his debut match against Sunil Singh last week, as he shimmied and smirked his way to the ring and dealt out a healthy dose of trash talk during the match en route to claiming a decisive win against the former 24/7 Champion.

Hale has experienced mixed results since debuting on 205 Live several weeks ago, earning wins over the likes of Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari but also falling to Ari Sterling.

Something has to give, as Waller attempts to go 2-0 while Hale looks to bounce back from last week’s disappointing tag team loss against Nese and Daivari. The bout was highlighted by Hale’s inability (or downright refusal?) to get on the same page with Sterling, his partner of convenience.

Don’t miss a thrilling episode of 205 Live, streaming Friday at 10/9 C on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network elsewhere!

Fightful will have live coverage of 205 Live beginning at 10 p.m. ET on Friday.
