Huge Cage Match Set For 10/16 WWE Raw
They really will fight forever. Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns are destined to battle it out until they physically can't anymore.
A huge cage match was announced for the October 16 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, as Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns will duke it out. Their feud was rekindled yet again on Raw when the newly reformed Shield attacked Strowman, saving Matt Hardy from a post-match beatdown. The Shield would hold Strowman up for a spear before delivering their signature triple powerbomb through a table.
Reigns and Strowman have repeatedly squared off, having high profile matches at WWE Summerslam, Great Balls of Fire, Payback, Fastlane and more. The feud has spanned almost all of 2017, resulting in both men going to great lengths to injure the other. We've seen broken tables, cars run into ambulances, ambulances and stretchers turned and thrown over, barricades, sets, office chairs and backstage areas destroyed in the wake of these matches.
In singles matches, Reigns has only won once compared to Braun Strowman's three televised victories. One match went to a no-contest, although they've squared off several times in multi-person matches as well. They're also scheduled to fight at WWE's TLC pay-per-view when The Shield faces Braun Strowman, The Miz and The Bar.
