House Of Glory Had Vikingo vs. Amazing Red Scheduled Before Vikingo’s Injury
A dream match will have to wait.
House of Glory is known for delivering some big dream matches, bringing in the likes Hiroshi Tanahashi, Naomichi Marufuji, Shingo Takagi, Low Ki, and more for matches. The promotion is also on good terms with the likes of AEW, TNA Wrestling, NJPW, and AAA, making it easier to set up matches fans have often thought about, but never thought would come to fruition.
Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, HOG promoter Brian XL revealed that the promotion was scheduled to host Vikingo vs. Amazing Red, but the injury to Vikingo has put things on hold.
“To be completely honest, we were supposed to do Amazing Red vs. Vikingo for Boston. The older high flier with the newer high flier, putting those two giants together. Obviously, Vikingo got hurt, so we have to find a replacement. That’s one dream match I definitely want to do. That would be really good,” he said.
Vikingo underwent knee surgery in February and it is unknown how long he will be sidelined.
Amazing Red will face Mustafa Ali during WrestleMania week. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
