HOOK: I Want To Be AEW World Champion, That’s The Goal

HOOK has laid out his goal in AEW.

HOOK is undefeated in his AEW career, racking up a 9-0 career record. He most recently teamed with Danhausen to defeat Mark Sterling & Tony Nese at the AEW Double or Nothing Buy-In show.

Speaking to GQ, HOOK stated his goal in AEW.

“I want to be the AEW world champion. That’s it. That’s the goal. But outside of wrestling, I plan to delve into some other markets—design or artistic directing  I also want to look at acting and modeling,” he said.

Speaking about his debut, which took place on AEW Rampage in December 2021, HOOK said, “I still struggle to put it into words. It was such a surreal feeling. With all the hype that was built up before the debut, I definitely felt an intense amount of pressure. But I’ve been an athlete my entire life. I’ve had to deal with pressure before. So I didn’t feel scared. I felt ready to attack.”

HOOK is currently aligned with Danhausen on AEW television. The two men are set to appear on Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Rampage beginning at 10 p.m. ET on Friday.
