Hikuleo became the new STRONG Openweight Champion at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku, defeating KENTA to capture the title.
The finish saw Hikuleo connect with Godsend to put KENTA down for the three count.

This marks Hikuleo’s first reign at STRONG Openweight Champion. KENTA’s reign last 74 days after he defeated Fred Rosser at NJPW Battle in the Valley. He made two successful title defenses.
