HARDY got physically involved on the January 2 episode of WWE Raw, and he is set to perform at WWE Royal Rumble.
Monday’s episode of WWE Raw was held in Nashville, Tennessee, and in recognition of the location, WWE official Adam Pearce booked a Music City Street Fight between Solo Sikoa and Elias. Sikoa previously took Elias out with a brutal attack, and WWE’s resident musician was determined to get revenged. The two foes used a number of instruments, including a cowbell and a keyboard, as part of their battle.
At one point in the match, HARDY, who was sitting in the crowd, tried to hand Elias a guitar, but the assist didn’t pan out. HARDY then decided to take matters into his own hands. In front os his hometown crowd, HARDY hopped into the ring and broke the guitar over Sikoa’s back. HARDY promptly ran away, as he clearly wanted to avoid the powerhouse’s wrath. Though the interference temporarily helped Elias, it wasn’t enought to make a meaningul difference in the outcome, as Sikoa slammed him through a piano and pinned him.

HARDY subsequently discussed his eventful night on Monday in a WWE Digital Exclusive and explained why he helped Elias. He stated that he has a “soft spot” for musicians, so he felt like he had to lend Elias a hand. HARDY also made it clear that he’s looking forward to performing at WWE Royal Rumble.
