Happy Corbin: Undertaker Isn’t Afraid To Tell Someone When They’re Doing Something Wrong

Happy Corbin reflects on The Undertaker helping him out often in his career.

Happy Corbin is reflecting on what The Undertaker has done to help him throughout his WWE tenure.

Corbin is set to face off with a thorn that has been in his side for many months in Drew McIntyre at Night One of WrestleMania 38. The two have been at odds as far back as November of last year and are headed for their first singles match since August 2021. WrestleMania week always includes a Hall Of Fame ceremony, and this year’s leading candidate is none other than The Undertaker.

While appearing on the After The Bell podcast with Corey Graves, Corbin spoke fondly about Undertaker’s honesty and how he’s helped him since his days in NXT.

“He’s kinda grabbed onto me since I was in NXT. He helped me with my original entrance. He told me to ‘Stand here, take your time. Let the camera see your face. This is cool, this is not cool.’ He’s also not afraid to tell me when I’m doing something wrong. I think it’s rare these days, everyone is worried about hurting someone’s feelings. Taker will grab me and be like ‘Man, that sucked. What are you doing? Why would you do that, tell me your thought process. Okay, here’s why your thought process is wrong.’ So when you can have that relationship with somebody, then you’re gonna get an honest answer when you [ask their opinion].”

While The Undertaker does headline the 2022 class, other inductees include Vader, Queen Sharmell, and the Steiner Brothers.

Fightful will have full coverage of both Night One and Night Two of WrestleMania 38, as well as a post-show on our YouTube channel.
