On the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page and the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) teamed up in trios action. The three-man team used to be called the Hung Bucks in Ring of Honor, and they were set to bring back the name on Wednesday, though it wasn’t used on the show. 

On the latest episode of Being The Elite, which was recorded ahead of AEW Dynamite, Matt Jackson hyped up the reunion of the Hung Bucks and picthed the idea of wearing cowboy hats and bandanas for the special occasion. Hangman Page responded by noting that a blood feud wasn’t a good time to wear a light-up hat. He then stated that the network got mad when the Hung Bucks name was used on AEW TV, and they’re nixing it.

Matt Jackson: I had a great idea. Years ago, we used to be a trio, and we used to be called the Hung Bucks, right. So it’s only fitting, tonight we’re teaming for the first time since like 2018, I think we bring the name back on the freaking marquee. I got cowboy freaking hats for [Nick], I got one for me, and Hanger, guess what this one does? [Matt turns it on. The hat lights up.] I got a bandana just for you. One for you. This could be huge. The Hung Bucks are back, baby. Let’s go!

Hangman Page: Look, maybe I’ll do the bandana, but the hat, look, we’re in a blood feud right now. Do you think Jon Moxley’s gonna be scared of me when I wear this out to the ring? I mean, Hung Bucks, too. Did you not hear the news?

MJ: What news?

HP: I guess they said it last week on TV, and the network is kinda pissed off. They’re nixing it, they won’t allow it.

MJ: They’re nixing it? What’s wrong with the Hung Bucks?

HP: Apparently, it’s suggestive in a sexual way. Honestly, I’ll tell you the truth.

Kenny Omega: Why don’t they mind their business? Mind their P’s and Q’s, for goodness sakes. Come on. What does it matter? It’s none of their business what’s going on.

Hangman continued by stating that they can’t use the name, and they knew it was always a lie anyway. He pointed to a picture that Nick Jackson sent him, in which he was getting into an ice bath, as evidence, though the others claimed that shrinkage was responsible. 

HP: Look, we got told we absolutely cannot use it. To be honest, about the name, we all know it was always a lie. Right? I’ve seen you guys’ dicks. [Nick] sent that picture of you getting in the ice bath the other day.

KO: You ain’t seen shit.

MU: That’s shrinkage, though.

Nick Jackson: It is shrinkage, man. That was my excuse.

HP: This was getting in the tub.

NJ: It wasn’t a before shot?

Page went on to emphasize the anatomical inaccuracy of the Hung Bucks name before he stated that hearing fans chant it made him feel like a man because the description was a lie for him to. This relevation caught the rest of the group by surprise. 

HP: If you took the Young Bucks’ dicks and lined them up tip to tip, it’d only make half a normal dick, okay.

KO: Is that before or after your mouth is on it?

HP: Okay. It’s neither. What I’m trying to say is, when people chanted ‘Hung Bucks, Hung Bucks,’ it made me feel so good because it made me feel…

KO: Like a little boy again, didn’t it?

HP: No, it made me feel like a man because honestly, the truth is, it was always a lie for me too.

NJ: Jesus.

KO: No.

HP: Yeah.

NJ: I had no clue you had a small penis.

KO: I didn’t think so.

MJ: You had a whole two-year angle about your huge penis.

NJ: That you wrote.

HP: I just didn’t have the guts to tell you. At times, it’s inverted.

NJ: Oh Jesus. That was me in the cold plunge.

HP: We can’t say it on TV. It’s a lie. I don’t know. The hats?

Omega chimed in and offered his help in the form of some ancient stretching techniques. When asked, he noted that he used them, and he had the stretch marks to prove it. Matt then made it clear that this wouldn’t be the end of the Hung Bucks, and he was determined to wear the hat anyway.

KO: Woah, hey. I can recommend some exercises and stuff.

NJ: To make it bigger. KO: Some ancient stretching techniques.

HP: Do you do those?

KO: Uh, hello. Are you kidding me? You’ve seen the stretch marks. Duh.

MJ: Alright. Damn it. Will you at least wear a bandana and you wear a bandana? Nick and I are wearing the hats, I don’t even care. I’ll tell you what right now. This is a hill that I’m willing to effing die on. Hung Bucks, this ain’t the end. I’m wearing this damn hat. Moxley will be afraid because I look freaking scary and I look crazy, and I look like one of those western guys.

Omega then made it clear that he accepted Page and the Young Bucks for who they are. He admitted that he had his own anatomical insecurity, as he had been called “Cellphone Wide.” Omega told the trio that they should use the Hung Bucks name, whether they were actually hung or not.

KO: At the end of the day, you are all my friends, and I will accept you for who you are, no matter what walk of life you come from. No matter if you took a cold plunge bath. You don’t need an excuse. I accept you for you, and I would hope you’d accept me for me. It’s embarrassing. They call me ‘cell phone wide’? Are you kidding me? I don’t want to be called ‘Cell Phone Wide.’ I’m sick of this tomfoolery. Guys, if we could just unite, just this once, I don’t need the name. But the Hung Bucks, that’s something that you guys embody, whether you’re hung long or not. You are hung nonetheless. I say take this name and run with it.

HP: Bring it in. Dicks in.

Page and the rest of the group stood up and huddled.  The quartet then went “dicks in” as they hugged, and their thighs touched. Everyone seemingly felt better, and Matt thanked Omega for his kind words.
