Gunther Says He Was Happy To See Chad Gable’s Daughter Cry On 9/4 WWE Raw
Gunther says that he’s glad he made Chad Gable’s daughter cry on Raw.
On the September 4, 2023 edition of WWE Raw, Chad Gable once again challenged Gunther for his Intercontinental Championship. Despite that the episode of Raw took place in Gable’s home state of Minnesota, Gunther was still able to come out on top and retain his championship after a great back and forth bout.
Gable’s children were present for the bout. After the conclusion of the match, the cameras cut to Gable’s daughter, who was crying in the front row.
In a new interview with Sportskeeda, Gunther was asked about this moment.
“I felt great. I won, right? So I’m good. I enjoy a little bit of heartbreak at the end. So I was happy to see that.”
Gunther went on to reflect on becoming the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time.
“It’s a great accomplishment, but I’m gonna use that to build my legacy more on top of that. [I’m] just getting started.”
