The Good Brothers Discuss Creative Process Of TalkNShopAMania

This one is better just left in context.

After the Q2 quarterly call earlier this year that saw Vince McMahon peppered with questions about creative and making new stars, the company debuted Retribution and Raw Underground. A hasty decision which has largely been abandoned. With TalkNShopAMania parodying plenty in the wrestling world, it’s no surprise that they’ll be covering that on TalkNShopAMania 2. The cast took us through the creative process:

Doc Gallows:

“It actually is a creative meeting we had. The second he debuted it.”

Karl Anderson

“Hey, he obviously knows what he’s doing. Whatever he thought of he thought of it because it’s a business decision, man.”

Gallows:

“Of course he knows what he’s doing. But, sometimes he makes business decisions and we call each other and go, ‘We have to spoof that.’”

Anderson:

“Don’t get me wrong now, we got Retri-poo-tion that’s showing up. We have a real fighting segment on Talk’n Shop A Mania 2 as well. It’s called Roll Under Shit.”

Gallows:

“Food fights.”

Anderson:

“That fighting is real and other shit, Ball Versus Ball is fake.”

Gallows

“Yeah, that’s the shooting. They’re not shoot fights, they’re Hoot? fights in Roll Under Shit.”

Anderson:

“But watch it—see I can’t even get it out, bro—watch it when Vernon Love and his son fight each other in this Roll Under Shit. Vernon Love is Gallows’s minion, and his actual real son—”

Gallows

He’s coming over to wash the dishes in an hour.”

Anderson

“But, they’re having the real shoot fight in Roll Under shit, and they’re beating the fuck out of each other in a really weird way. It’s fucking funny, man.”

Gallows

There’s a scene in there where he’s trying to hit somebody with a weapon and it takes him an hour and a half, and I just fuckin’ lose it every time.”

Anderson

“Of course, the main event is Ball For A Ball, right? So, you would hope the whole show, people would avoid ball shots. Of course, everybody hits each other in the balls the whole show.”

Gallows

“Psychology, brother.”

Karl Anderson

“Don’t worry, we make comments on it, it on commentary the whole time.”

Gallows

“The way we agent your matches, we bury you on commentary for the world to see afterwards.”

Sean Ross Sapp:

“Will there be a TalkNShopaMania 3?

Gallows

“Oh, yeah, Sean. We don’t know about it yet.”

Rocky Romero

“Is there?”

Gallows

“I want Talk’n Shop A Mania 3 to happen in front of a live audience when the world opens. I’ve already had preliminary conversations about this.”

Anderson

Well, the main event’s already set. We’ve already got the main event for three.

Sean Ross Sapp

“Really? Tell me.”

Anderson

“I can’t.”

Sean Ross Sapp

“You can tell me.”

Anderson

“We can’t. I’ve been exposing everything.”

Gallows

“‘You can tell me?’ Hahaha.”

Anderson

“‘You can tell me, brother!’ We’ve already got it all set.”

Gallows

“Spoilin’ Karl Anderson, ladies and gentlemen.”

Anderson

“I can’t spoil that one yet, though. Let’s just get the rise of the Cock Torturer over first, guys.”

Romero

“What would happen with it anyway if this pay-per-view doesn’t sell at all. [?] we might have to completely abandon it. [?]”

Anderson

“You can imagine Ball For Ball verbiage, right? [Chad 2 Badd] takes a rope, ties it around Sex Ferguson’s nut sack and tries to pull it off with a truck. Sex Ferguson has, what’s it called…a shock…tzz…shocker, or whatever, trying to shock my nut sack and I’m just screaming, going nuts.”

Gallows:

“Throw a Mountie spot in there. You never know who’s going to show up in the Talk’n Shop A Mania world, you know?”

Anderson

“Of course, the verbiage with me saying, ‘I’m going to rip your balls off and take a bite out of them.’ He goes, ‘Jesus, don’t’ do that.’ That kind of stuff. ‘Maybe I won’t.’”
