Goldberg Says He Knocked Himself Out Against Undertaker; Apologizes For Letting Fans Down
Goldberg comments on his WWE Super ShowDown match.
Fans who watched the WWE Super ShowDown main event between Goldberg and The Undertaker likely noticed that Goldberg wasn’t right by the end of the match. He had a cut on the top of his head during his entrance from his pre-match ritual of banging his head against the locker room door. During the bout, he was posted, opening the cut up further. To make matters worse, he was spiked on his head on a Tombstone piledriver.
Commenting on the match on social media, Goldberg revealed that he did, in fact, knock himself out during the bout.
Knocked myself out and thought I could finish…. love my fans…..but let u down. Everyone else that found “pleasure” ….. hope ur happy

Goldberg not having his full wits about him led to a series of scary spots, including a failed Jackhammer where he dropped Undertaker on his head. Goldberg also couldn’t complete a Tombstone reversal spot, leading to Undertaker seemingly taking the match home with a chokeslam.
