GLOW Nominated For Three Emmy Awards
Netflix’s GLOW has been nominated for a few Emmys.
The 72nd Emmy Award nominations were revealed today and it was announced that actress Betty Gilpin, who plays Liberty Bell on the show, was nominated for “Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series.” It is the second straight year that Gilpin was nominated for the award. The winners will be announced on the Emmy Awards presentation on ABC on September 20.

- D’Arcy Carden, The Good Place
- Betty Gilpin, GLOW
- Kate McKinnon, Saturday Night Live
- Marin Hinkle, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
- Annie Murphy, Schitt’s Creek
- Yvonne Orji, Insecure
- Cecily Strong, Saturday Night Live
In addition, the show was able to pick up two more nominations in the following categories: “Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour)” and “Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama (Half-Hour).”
The show’s third season was released on Netflix in August 2019 and the streaming service revealed this past September that the show has been renewed for a fourth and final season, though no official date for the final season was revealed.
