Vikingo is the reigning AAA Mega Champion. He has not wrestled since AAA TripleMania 31 CDMX on August 12. There, he defeated Daga, Jack Cartwheel, and Mike Bailey to retain the gold. Vikingo fainted backstage after the match, and he was taken out on a stretcher. He was active on social media the next day, and he later posted that he attended a concert.
PWInsider reported that Vikingo had been dehydrated, and he hadn’t eaten enough, prior to the incident at TripleMania. The report noted that he was not expected to miss any upcoming dates.
Fightful will continue to monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
