The Gang Pitches A WrestleMania 40 Match
It’s Always Sunny at WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 40 will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. Philadelphia is known for a lot of things, and is famously the setting for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The Gang has used nods to wrestling in episodes, and Rob McElhenney (Mac) revealed that his WrestleMania 40 pitch won’t come to fruition.
“The Gang Wrestles for the Troops” was episode five in season seven and starred Roddy Piper as Da’ Maniac.
The Trash Man might be useful at WrestleMania 40 if certain matches don’t go the way fans want them to.
