Gail Kim Suffered Concussion At IMPACT 1000, Will Not Condone Bullying Velvet Sky
Gail Kim returned to the ring at IMPACT 1000, teaming with Awesome Kong, Jordynne Grace, Mickie James, & Trinity to defeat Angelina Love, Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans & Tasha Steelz.
During the bout, Velvet Sky pulled Kim off the apron and she hit her head on the mat.
After the tapings, Kim said she was doing okay after being “rattled.”
Now that the episode has aired, Kim revealed she suffered a concussion. She noted in her Instagram post that she didn’t want anyone attacking Velvet Sky for the incident as she knows the risks when it comes to wrestling.
IMPACT 1000 marked Kim’s first match since 2019 when she retired from active competition.
It is unknown if or when Kim will return to the ring in the future. Fightful wishes Gail the best in her continued recovery.
