SHOOTING SOFTLY is generally meant to be a segment where wrestlers say nice things about their peers. 

Gabe Kidd had no time for such nonsense or pleasantries. 

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp asked Kidd to SHOOT SOFTLY on the following names in wrestling.

MJF: Wankstain twat. Nerd. Loser. Fucking Turkey head. Needs to go to Turkey for his head. Knobhead. 

Shingo Takagi: Fucking fat baby man. He’s like a little baby compacted into a muscley body. 

Zack Sabre Jr: Fucking string bean lanky streak of piss. Wanker. Nerd. Nah, he’s not a nerd, actually, he’s got a decent taste in music. Dickhead. 

Fred Rosser: I was trying to remember that thing him and Titus O’Neil used to do but I couldn’t even remember it. Money man, I guess, maybe. 

Eddie Kingston: [Laughs]. Chick-Fil-A eating. Wheelchair wheelin’. [Laughs]. Broken leg rockin’. No back fist poppin’ because you’re out injured. Loser. My prey. 

Hiroshi Tanahashi: Ah, Jesus. Too much coco’s curry.

Ryohei Oiwa: Baby. Akachan. Little Akachan to me. I’ll rock him to sleep. 

Hirooki Goto: The biggest ‘what could’ve been?’ The biggest ‘what could’ve been?’ in New Japan. You’re a strong wrestler, Goto, the problem is mate. You’re very dumb. What’s that film with Jim Carrey? ‘Dumb and Dumber.’ If that guy was a Japanese pro wrestler, it would be Hirooki Goto. I was watching the tag league final back and he was on commentary. I powerbombed Naito through a table and you just hear him go, ‘Uh.’ [Laughs]. Mate, are you alright? Is there anything going on up there? I don’t think so. You absolute idiot. He’s like Lennie from ‘Of Mice & Men.’ ‘Oh, YOSHI-HASHI, can I wrestle?’ [Laughs].
