Funaki Makes Appearance On WWE NXT As Giulia’s Translator

Funaki made a cameo on the September 10th episode of NXT, acting as the translator for Giulia. 

Giulia made with NXT GM Ava backstage and helped them communicate. 

They were interrupted by Roxanne Perez, and Giulia spoke to her without needing the help of Funaki. 

“You’re scared, and you should be.”

Funaki has been working as a Japanese commentator for WWE since 2016. He has been the translator for other talents from overseas including KENTA (Hideo Itami) and Kairi Sane.
