NJPW announced the following matches for NJPW New Beginning USA on January 15:

From NJPW

January 15 will see NJPW STRONG’s first live action of 2022, with an increasingly stacked card for fans at Seattle’s Washington Hall. Joining the already announced matches of El Phantasmo vs Matt Rehwoldt, Yuya Uemura vs Brody King, Clark Connors vs TJP and the U-S-of- Jay Open Challenge are the following four bouts:

Josh Barnett will be facing Ren Narita. At Detonation, Josh Barnett stepped in a NJPW ring for the first time in over 17 years, battling Alex Coughlin in a tremendous bout that helped cement the LA Dojo member as being ready for the big time. Will the Warmaster put the same stamp of approval on Narita that he gave to Coughlin in Riverside?

FinJuice will be teaming up to take on Bad Dude Tito and JONAH. JONAH has set his sights on David Finlay and Juice Robinson as his first victims in a tour of destruction, and has formed an alliance with Tito, who fans will see make his NJPW STRONG debut when the Nemesis tour airs in January. The Top Dog is the ultimate imposing force one on one, but in the wheelhouse of the former IWGP and IMPACT Tag Team Champions, will FinJuice have the edge?

Rocky Romero will team up with the returning Lio Rush to face the West Coast Wrecking Crew, Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson. Rocky’s issues with Team Filthy continue to grow, after Detonation saw him fall to the mysterious Black Tiger. Romero will have eyes in the back of his head for potential involvement from this figure from his past, but will need all of his and Rush’s attention on one of STRONG’s premier tag teams.

LA Dojo’s Kevin Knight and The DKC will face the debuting team of Ricky Gibson and Eddie Pearl. The duo are very familiar to Washington Hall regulars, having held DEFY’s Tag Team Championships for close to two years as the Midnight Heat. New Beginning USA sees them with a chance to show why they earned that title status, but as Knight and the DKC have continued to improve as a team, this could be a major opportunity for the LA Dojo duo.

Here is the current lineup for NJPW New Beginning USA:
