Former CZW Wrestler Tom ‘Z-Barr’ Hirshman Passes Away
Tom ‘Z Barr’ Hirshman has sadly passed away.
Z-Barr began wrestling for CZW in 1999 and was billed as “The Ultraviolent Manwhore.” He was positioned as a top heel in the company during his early years. John Zandig and Nick Mondo burying Z-Barr under a pile of chairs, which you can view in the video above, is one of the most memorable moments in CZW history.
CZW is saddened to learn of the passing of Tom ‘Z Barr’ Hirshman. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones. #RIPZBarr

Along with GZW, Z-Barr wrestled for NWA Wildside, IPW, Big Japan, and more.
Z-Barr was active through 2012. He was advertised for the GCW Acid Cup 2016 but didn’t end up wrestling on the show. PWInsider notes that he had health issues as of late.
On behalf of Fightful, we would like to extend our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Z-Barr.
