Former Bullet Club Trio Adopts New Name On WWE Raw
The Balor Club rides again — and that's the name they'll be going by if WWE Monday Night Raw is any indication.
The trio of Finn Balor, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows appeared on the January 8 episode of Raw after reuniting and tagging the week prior to interrupt Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Jason Jordan. During a promo, Balor referred to the three as the "Balor Club," which was a moniker he'd used for his fans upon entering WWE.
The Balor Club is a play off the "Bullet Club" group name that the three co-founded with Tama Tonga, Bad Luck Fale and others in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Since that time, everything from Guns N' Gallows to the Good Brothers have been used — albeit not officially for Anderson and Gallows.
The Bullet Club is still used in New Japan Pro Wrestling, although it's looked headed for a fracture of late. There are also several subgroups, including The Elite and Bullet Club OG's. Anderson and Gallows also teamed up with AJ Styles to form "The Club" in WWE.
It's worth noting that within New Japan Pro Wrestling storylines, both Balor and Styles were kicked out, while Anderson and Gallows weren't.
