First Semifinal Match Set In NXT Breakout Tournament
One spot remains.
On Tuesday’s episode of NXT, Carmelo Hayes defeated Josh Briggs to advance in the NXT Breakout Tournament.
Hayes picked up the victory with a top rope leg drop to the neck of Briggs, who was bent over.
Hayes will now face Duke Hudson in the semifinals of the tournament.

Odyssey Jones and Hudson previously advanced in the Breakout Tournament. Jones defeated Andre Chase while Hudson was victorious over Ikemen Jiro. Joe Gacy will face Trey Baxter next Tuesday to determine the final man who will advance to the semifinals. The winner will face Jones.
