First Finalists Determined In WWE’s King Of The Ring And Queen’s Crown Tournaments

The first finalist in WWE’s King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments has been determined.

On the October 15 edition of SmackDown, Sami Zayn faced Finn Balor in a semi-final match in the King of the Ring tournament. Sami advanced last week by defeating Rey Mysterio, while Finn beat Cesaro. After a hard-fought battle, it was Balor who emerged victoriously. He will compete in the finals on October 21 at the Crown Jewel event. Balor will face either Xavier Woods and Jinder Mahal. That match is set to happen this coming Monday on Raw.

In the Queen’s Crown SmackDown semi-final, Carmella faced off against Zelina Vega. They each advanced last week by defeating Liv Morgan and Toni Storm, respectively. Ahead of the match, they agreed to have a clean fight, but that all changed when Carmella superkicked Vega. Zelina immediately targeted Carmella’s face, but The Most Beautiful Woman In All Of WWE couldn’t get to her protective mask because it was taken by Liv Morgan. This distraction allowed Vega to pin Carmella and book herself a spot in the finals at Crown Jewel. She will face either Shayna Baszler or Doudrop. That match is set to happen this Monday, October 18, on WWE Raw.

Fightful will have live coverage of Crown Jewel on October 21, 2021, beginning at 12 p.m. EST.
