First Ever WWE Women’s United States Champion Crowned On WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Chelsea Green made history at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, becoming the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion.

Green defeated Michin in the finals of the tournament.

The finish saw Chelsea flip over Michin from the top rope and into the Unprettier, planting Michin and then pinning her.

Piper Niven provided a momentary distraction prior to the finish.

To get to the finals, Michin defeated Tiffany Stratton in the semifinals and bested Lash Legend and Piper Niven in the first round. On the other side of the bracket, Green defeated Bayley in the semifinals and defeated Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in her first round triple threat match.
