First-Ever Triple Threat AEW World Title Match Set For AEW Double Or Nothing 2021
Orange Cassidy is one step closer to becoming the World Heavyweight Champion or whatever.
On the May 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy and PAC fought to a draw and secured a championship match against Kenny Omega at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on Sunday, May 30.
Orange Cassidy needed medical attention following a Liger Bomb from PAC and then, due to the distraction of Don Carlos, Kenny Omega struck PAC in the back of the head with his championship resulting in a double count-out and both men seemingly missing out on an opportunity to become champion.
Shortly after, Tony Schiavone announced that Kenny Omega would be defending the championship at Double Or Nothing on Sunday, May 30 in the first-ever triple threat World Championship match in company history.
