Finals Set In AEW TBS Championship Tournament
The second finalist in the TBS Championship Tournament has been decided.
After a break following the quarterfinal round, AEW resumed the TBS Championship Tournament on December 22 with Ruby Soho winning the first semi-final match against Nyla Rose. Tonight, December 29, Jade Cargill faced Thunder Rosa for the other spot in the finals.
Jade and Rosa engaged in a hard-fought battle that saw each come close to ending the match on a number of occasions. The match came to an end when Rosa was struck by a masked figure while Mark Sterling distracted the referee. This allowed Jade to pick up the pin and win.
Thunder Rosa attacked Cargill after the match but was pulled off by her assailant who revealed themselves to be Mercedes Martinez.
Who was that??? With that interference, @Jade_cargill advances to the finals of the TBS Tournament Finals to face @realrubysoho!
