Fight Size Wrestling Update: Best Tweets, The Rock Praises Nia Jax, Cena Responds To SmackDown’s Ratings Win, Heath Slater Injured?

This is your Fight-Size Wrestling Update for December 29!

* WWE released two new videos to their YouTube page: One featuring The Best Tweets of 2016, which you can see above, and one featuring the most talked about moments of the year, which you can see below.

* The Rock praised his cousin Nia Jax in a video on his Instagram:

She ain't like most girls. Me and my cuz @niajaxwwe (Lina) layin' down our post workout . Really proud of the hard work she's putting in 24/7 to become a real asset and draw for the WWE and their Women's Division which has some of the best female athletes on the planet. Luv spending hours with her chopping it up because she's so coachable & enthusiastic to learn the wrestling business inside and out from me. But what I'm most proud of about Lina's journey is she represents millions of young girls around the world who don't fit the "traditional mold" of what girls in the entertainment industry look like. She's an inspiring example that regardless of your look, height, weight, race, the most powerful thing you can always be is yourself. Because you're perfect. Just keep putting in that hard work and being humble and hungry. We're all rooting for ya. #IronParadise #NiaJax #FutureWWEWomensChamp #WhyBeLikeMostGirls #WhenYouCanBeYourself

* SmackDown Live beat Raw in the ratings for the first time since the WWE Draft. John Cena responded to the news with a Tweet.

* Heath Slater tweeted after tweaking his knee in the Four Corners Elimination Tag Title Match on Tuesday that he feared he was injured:

But after seeing the doctor, Heath had some good news:

* Speaking of injuries, Zack Ryder appears to be recovering well from his own knee injury, and is back in the gym.

* ECW Original Jerry Lynn was backstage at the WWE Smackdown Live Event in Nashville last night, and posed for a picture with Kalisto.

* The Bollywood Boyz have been sent back down to NXT for "more seasoning." They appeared in the first ever match on 205 Live, but haven't been seen on the main roster since.

The feeling is that they weren't connecting with the fans like officials had hoped and perhaps some time in NXT would do them good.

* The 2017 edition of the Money In The Bank PPV has been announced to be taking place in the Scott Trade Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. It will be a Smackdown event.
