Fight Size Update: WWE Mid-Year Awards, Maria Kanellis Talks Comeback, ROH Six-Man Tag Team Match

This is the Fight Size Update for the evening of July 12th. 

– In the video, Pro Wrestling Unlimited discusses why Brock Lesnar was not mentioned on Raw despite being all over news outlets after showing up to UFC 226

– The Fightful Wrestling Weekly was added to Fightful Select on Thursday. Subscribers can read that and will have other exclusive content available weekly. 

– Ring of Honor released this video previewing the Impact Wrestling vs Ring of Honor match created for Chris Jericho’s cruise this October. 

– The former 3MB and Hornswoggle watched an old match together in a video for the WWE YouTube. 

– Kofi Kingston threw out a first pitch while WWE was in his hometown of Boston. 

– WWE did the following photoshoot of wrestlers dressed like ECW and hardcore legends. 

Maria Kanellis shared the following on Instagram about making her comeback to wrestling starting in August. 

–  This episode of WWE Now covers WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar challenging the UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. 

Wrestling Observer reported the long term deal Tessa Blanchard signed with Impact Wrestling is for two years. 

– On the Honor Re-United tour, the Briscoes will team with Punishment Martinez to take on the Young Bucks and Marty Scurll. 

– WWE uploaded this picture of Brock Lesnar suplexing his opponents 50 times. 

– WWE announced some mid-year awards on Instagram. AJ Styles won Male wrestler of the year. Ronda Rousey won Female wrestler of the year. AJ Styles versus Shinsuke Nakamura won feud of the year. Bobby Lashley won most surprising return. Seth Rollins and Finn Balor won best match. There are more awards shown in the Instagram post below.

– According to Wrestling Observer, Garza Jr. and Ultimo Ninja haven’t started with WWE yet because of issues with their visas but they should still start soon. 

Netflix’s GLOW was nominated for an Emmy for Best Comedy Series.
