Fight Size Update: Update On Braun Strowman Winning The Tag Team Battle Royal, Hulk Hogan/The Rock Reflect On WrestleMania X8, More
Here's your Fight Size wrestling Update for the evening of March 18th, 2018.
– This past Monday on RAW, "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman inserted himself into a tag team battle royal that would determine who would challenge "The Bar" for the RAW Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 34. Strowman, by himself, outlasted the other teams and earned himself a shot at the RAW Tag Team Championships. It is unknown who Strowman will select as his partner or if he will have one at all. WWE sent out the following teaser recently hyping up what's next in this situation involving Strowman:
"Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has a lot on his plate going into this year’s Show of Shows — including his Mixed Tag Team Match with Ronda Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon — but he’ll need to sort out Strowman’s Road to WrestleMania sooner than later. Will Angle rule in favor of The Monster Among Men, or will all of Team Red suffer the consequences if Strowman doesn’t get his way?"
– March 18th is the anniversary of the "passing of the torch" match at WrestleMania X8 between The Rock and Hulk Hogan. The two sports-entertainment legends reflected on their match via social media.
– As the 'Ultimate Deletion' is nearing us, Matt Hardy continues to show off bits of what fans will see during the match as it will air tomorrow night during RAW. Hardy sat in the "Lake Of Reincarnation" with Skarsgard and the two were having some alone time.
– As already having been revealed by the NXT tapings, Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne will be challenging for the NXT Tag Team Championships at TakeOver: New Orleans. The situation is beginning to unravel as Roddy shared a video on Instagram attempting to get himself in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The spot that Roddy is trying to fill was once held by Tyler Bate & Trent Seven, but due to a tweaked knee Bate was unable to compete in the tournament.
– At WWE's Madison Square Garden live event over the weekend, Nikki Bella made her return to in-ring action for the second time this year and teamed up with her fiance' John Cena. Bella posted a video onto her YouTube channel reflecting on teaming with "Big Match John" and you can view that by clicking here.
