Fight Size Update: Tokyo Sports Awards, GLOW Earns SAG Nominations, Nick Aldis Gives First Interview & More!

– Morning! Here is your first Fight Size Update for December 14:

– The Toyko Sports Awards were announced yesterday afternoon. Tetsuya Naito won the MVP Award for the second year in a row. Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega won Match of the Year. The All Japan tag team of Suwama and Shuji Ishikawa won for best tag team. The Distinguished Service award went to YAMATO (Dragon Gate), Katsuyori Shibata won the Fighting Spirit Award, Hideki Suzuki (BJW) won the Technique award, Io Shirai won Best in Joshi award for the third year in a row and the Newcome award went to Yuma Aoyagi (All Japan).The awards ceremony will go down in January.

– GLOW continues to rack up awards as it was nominated for four SAG awards: Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series (Marc Maron), Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series (Alison Brie), Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series.
