Fight Size Update: Shinsuke Nakamura Teases A Stipulation For His WWE Title Match, ‘Chuco El Roto’ Falls Off A Cage, Tommaso Ciampa, More
Here's your Fight Size wrestling Update for the morning of May 21st, 2018.
– At 'Money In The Bank' on June 17th Shinsuke Nakamura will have another shot to capture the WWE Championship from AJ Styles. Last week on SmackDown Live Styles & Nakamura did battle once again and the winner of their bout was going to be given the power to select the stipulation for their upcoming match at the 'Money In The Bank' PPV. "The King Of Strong Style" emerged victorious in the match and has yet to officially make his decision regarding the stipulation but he did give a vague hint that he is in the process of selecting one.
– There was a news story that broke on the 18th which read that a barber tossed his customer through the window for complaining about a haircut. Shawn Michaels jokingly commented on the report stating that he had nothing to do with it, referencing his infamous "Super-Kick" to Marty Jannetty through Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake's barbershop window.
– One year ago yesterday Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa failed to win the NXT Tag Team Championships at TakeOver: Chicago. The end result of this night saw the beginning of a blood-boiled feud that has brought the two men to having pure hatred for one another. Tommaso Ciampa reflected on the anniversary noting that he tore his ACL in that match on-top of having pre-existing injuries and all everyone could talk about was how Johnny Gargano took a Ladder to the face for him.
– As the 2018 'Best Of The Super Juniors' tournament rolls on NJPW has a plethora of interviews featuring the competitors in the tournament posted on their official YouTube page.
– Masked luchadore 'Chuco El Roto' gave fans in attendance and fellow wrestlers involved in the match quite the scare. El Roto climbed to the top of the steel cage and was supposed to hit a "plancha" but ended up falling off. The humorous portion of the clip that was not shown was that he immediately got back up and climbed to the top of the cage and hit the plancha onto the sea of men for the finish as if nothing happened.
– Mustafa Ali released another self-produced promo video where he went over his road to building 205 Live into the brand that revolves around him.
