Fight Size Update: North American Championship Match Has Not Been Made Official For TakeOver: Chicago II, Seth Rollins’ Open Challenge, More

Here's your Fight Size wrestling Update for the evening of May 11th, 2018.

– During the recent NXT TV tapings that took place over the past two days, a number of matches, and feuds that could turn into potential matches for the NXT TakeOver: Chicago II match card were put into place. Adam Cole, who is the current NXT North American Champion was not announced to be defending his title at the forthcoming TakeOver. Cole's running mates, Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong will be defending their NXT Tag Team Titles at the event against the tandem of Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch.


– The current SmackDown Live GM Paige shared via social media that she was able to see her younger brother for the first time in six years.


– Brandi Rhodes recently underwent successful surgery for a broken clavicle that she wrestled two matches with. Today, Brandi provided an update noting that the surgery was a success and in-doing so responded to those who criticized her for working matches with a beat up shoulder.


– NXT's rising talent Fabian Aichner's "next-level" back workout was posted onto WWE's YouTube channel.


ESPN has an interview published with a fan who attended the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' and he provided some insight into how the event could have possibly changed the norms of the Saudi Arabian society.


– This upcoming Monday's edition of RAW will be held from the 'O2 Arena' in London. WWE is teasing another Seth Rollins WWE Intercontinental Championship open challenge after Rollins already knocked one competitor down who has stepped to him:

"Determined to be a fighting Intercontinental Champion — unlike its previous bearer, The Miz — Seth Rollins instituted an open challenge this past Monday Night on Raw, prompting Mojo Rawley to step to The Architect and turn “Monday Night Rollins” into “Monday Night Rawley.”

Rawley brought the fight to The Kingslayer but was ultimately defeated. Who will be next to challenge Team Red’s fighting champion?

– The former 13-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton shared on Twitter that he has seen the 'Avengers' movie starring his long-time friend Dave Bautista. Orton shared that one day he hopes to headline WrestleMania with Bautista again.


– Mexico's legendary luchadore 'Atlantis' is scheduled to make his Ring Of Honor debut next month in Dallas.
