Fight Size Update: Nate “The Rat” Whitlock Passes Away, G.O.D.’s New Shirts Are Available To Purchase, WWE 2K19 Not On Nintendo Switch, More

Here’s your Fight Size wrestling Update for the morning of July 9th, 2018.

Various media outlets in the state of Tennessee have picked up the story that former Memphis wrestling manager and personality Nate “The Rat” Whitlock passed away this past Thursday. The details of Whitlock’s passing are currently unknown but what is known is that he managed the likes of Jerry “The King” Lawler, ‘Master Of Pain’ (The Undertaker), ‘The Soul Taker’ (The Godfather) and many other stars early on in their careers.


– New York Knicks Center Enes Kanter was able to grab photos and a video with The Undertaker while WWE was gearing up to present their live event at Madison Square Garden over the weekend.

The Boston Herald has an article published on their website hyping up the return of Boston’s very own Sasha Banks as RAW invades the TD Garden tonight.


– At NJPW’s G1 Special event Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa left the mainstream version of Bullet Club behind as they attacked Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks and then proceeded to lay waste to the remaining members of the group who attempted to come to the save of Omega and The Bucks. G.O.D. now have their own merchandise out which symbolizes a new chapter in the novel that is Bullet Club.


– As mentioned above, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa decided to separate themselves from the rest of Bullet Club. The current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega took to Twitter after the attack and noted that he will deal with the situation at a later date.


– World Of Sport will debut on ITV on July 28th at 5 PM.


The newest ‘Canvas 2 Canvas’ on WWE’s YouTube channel features the former NXT Tag Team Champions SAnitY.


A photo surfaced via Reddit which showed a few WWE talents preparing for their matches before the doors to the MSG house show opened.


– 2K Sports confirmed that WWE 2K19 will not be available for Nintendo Switch. The publishing division of 2K Games sent out the following statement concerning the questions that they have been receiving about WWE 2K19 being or not being available on Switch:

“WWE 2K19 will not be available on Nintendo Switch. 2K is focused on making the best possible experience for WWE 2K fans and will continue evaluating all opportunities to deliver the franchise across additional platforms.”
