Fight Size Update: Kevin Owens With The Ultimate Troll, Update On Rich Swann’s Retirement, Brandi Rhodes-Stardom, More

Here's your Fight Size wrestling Update for the morning of March 11th, 2018.

– Recently, there was a report making the rounds by way of Dave Meltzer in his latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that claimed that former NXT Champions Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens would be partaking in the 'Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal' at WrestleMania 34. Owens being the witty character that he is would go on to Twitter and add fire to the flame by posting a photo of the 2014 'Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal' match and captioned the photo: "Tape study"

 

– The "Woken One" Matt Hardy recently went in-depth about former Impact Wrestling multifaceted staff member Jeremy Borash being brought into the WWE. To read more into what Hardy had to say about Borash, click here.

– Tomorrow night on RAW, the two men who will fight for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34; Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will meet face-to-face. The past two weeks on RAW, Reigns has torn down the current WWE Universal Champion by word of mouth, but now Brock Lesnar's "word of mouth", Paul Heyman, will speak on behalf of his client to inform Roman Reigns about what is going to happen in New Orleans.

 

– It appears that Brandi Rhodes will have another opportunity to make an impact in another tournament, as the Stardom women's wrestling promotion announced that Brandi Rhodes is the first entrant into the 2018 'Cinderella Tournament'; which grants the winner any wish of their choosing. Rhodes was recently bounced from the 'Women Of Honor' Championship tournament by Tenille Dashwood at the ROH 16th Anniversary show. To read more into that match, click here.

 

–  Three days ago, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann announced via Twitter that after the remainder of his booking dates are completed, he would be retiring from the sport of pro wrestling.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Swann is now pulling out of those bookings. The "Outlandish One" was scheduled to wrestle for the CRASH promotion on March 17th and Tommy Dreamer's 'House Of Hardcore' show during WrestleMania weekend, but according the site Swann has removed himself from all scheduled appearances.
